As I learned more about the immigration process and started doing the work that I’m doing now, I realized that the American Dream is much more than coming to the United States to go to Disneyland.

People have helped me in my life do what I wanted to do. And so I feel it’s just right…

“They have a hearing on the 17th, and we’re going to present all their documents and declarations for why they fled Venezuela. She says that she’s going to the Olympics. But again, that’s the American Dream. Just think of that! Here they are! They fled, Venezuela, and now they have a daughter competing for the United States!

The American Dream is – to me – the American Dream is rising expectations. Knowing in the sense that 5 years from now I’ll be in a better position to do what I want to do.

Helping people this way is helping them achieve the American Dream.
