I recently turned 41 years old. And I am a social worker.

My fun fact is I have two daughters and I didn’t want any more kids and then we got a puppy. And now I think I have three daughters. All girls in the household. My poor husband!

I had my first daughter, and after that I suffered from postpartum depression and anxiety. After struggling with that, I went back to my job, and I had changed so much from that struggle, that position didn’t suit me anymore. It just didn’t fit. It took me a little while to figure that out. So my dream changed to helping moms, and that’s all I wanted to do was help moms not feel the way I had felt. That’s when I decided to go back to grad school and get a social work degree.

The specifics of my dream changed, but maybe the overall dream, which was having this comfortable lifestyle and having my family and having a nice place to live in a nice community, that stays the same.
